We had the best 4th of July after 2 years swamp walking we finally found a blooming Ghost Orchid there are only about 21 blooming Ghost Orchids known to bloom in Fakahatchee strand swamp per year so to find one in 85000 acres felt super amazing and to make the day even more perfect we encountered our first Black bear in Florida unfortunately he was gone as soon as we got the camera but still snapped a cell phone picture.Can’t wait for Rudy to finish the editing the pictures of this beautiful Ghost  so I can hang the best one on our wall.Click on pictures below to see fine art print of the Ghost Orchid.
